We love to welcome children to stay at Hawthorn Farm!
- There's a large shared playing field at the back of the terrace cottages (Primrose, Rowan and Cherry Tree) that can be enjoyed by children staying in any of our cottages
- We have a children's outdoor play set with swing, slide and rope for children up to the age of 10 years
- We have a wide selection of toys, games and DVDs for the little
ones to enjoy including outdoor table tennis, kites, and croquet - The picnic areas outside the cottages are a perfect place to have a family meal, or to play a game in the warmer weather
- We have a cot, high chair and baby bath are available to borrow on request - please ask at time of booking. Please bring your own baby bedding though
- We have a bike shed, which you're welcome to store your children's bike in while you're staying here.
Hawthorn Farm is also ideally located, close to lots of attractions that are perfect for a family day out: the many different historic attractions, wildlife parks, and beaches of Kent are often geared towards family visitors. Wingham, Canterbury, Broadstairs, Ramsgate, Walmer and Deal are all within easy reach of Hawthorn Farm.
Please note:
- Foxglove Cottage is only suitable for one infant under the age of 2, or up to two children over the age of 12. The three cottages which back onto the playing fields and paddocks in "The Terrace" (Cherry Tree, Rowan and Primrose) are more suitable for children aged 2-12.
- Pear Tree Cottage is for adults only.
If you have any questions about the suitability of our cottages for your children, or if you have any special requests, please contact us before making your booking.
