What happens if I change my mind?

If you think you may need to change your mind, please call or email us to ask us to "hold" your dates for 24 hours while you get all the information you need to make up your mind.
What happens depends on when you change your mind:
- As soon as you submit your booking form, you will have 24 hours to pay the booking deposit. If you change your mind before you pay your booking deposit, you won't owe us anything, and the cottage will be automatically re-listed.
- If you've already paid your deposit to secure your dates, and you then change your mind, you will have a 24 hour "cooling off period" starting from the time we confirm receipt of your deposit. You'll need to let us know in writing that you've changed your mind before the end of the 24 hour cooling off period.
You can email us with your request to change your mind, or you can click on the "Cancellation/Modification Request" button at the top of your booking on our website. You will be sent a link to your booking when you submit your booking form. We will then go ahead and cancel your booking and we will return any deposit paid in full to the same card/account that you used to make your payment. - If you change your mind after the cooling off period, our standard cancellation terms will apply. These can be found in our Booking Terms and Conditions, which will signposted to you at the time of booking, and also sent to you in the confirmation of booking email. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel/cancellation insurance at the time of booking if you aren't sure about going ahead with your booking. Please contact us with your request to cancel in writing or via the Cancellation/Modification Request button as described above.
If you're concerned about any of this this, please call us on 01304 290029 preferably before making a booking.
